How to Speed Up iOS 10 on iPhone or iPad?

Clean Install of iOS 10

iDevice performance issue can be because of the improper installation of iOS 10. Any type of performance issues could be a result of a faulty or damaged installation of the operating system. So that it is recommended to re-install iOS 10 and start again with a clean installation, especially if you updated via OTA method on an older device.


Limit Location Services

It is one of the most important features that a lot of advance apps rely on and use is the capability to track the location of the iDevice that’s being used. This is extraordinary if you required that options in an app, but there are examples where some apps request and get location privileges, but it isn’t actually need for app to function. S0 it is a good idea to head into Location Services and turn off privileges for the apps that you don’t need it turned on for.

To do this, go to the Settings > Privacy > Location Services


Free Up Some Space

An elegant and working user-interface will usually contain animations for attractiveness, and iOS 10 is one of the attractive user interface. But with older hardware, some of the animations can sometimes decreases the performance of the device. So it is suggested to turn them off, head to Settings > General > Accessibility and toggle the Reduce Motion switch to the On position.



Turn Off Background App Updates

Automatic app update feature allows user to update their apps in the background which can slowdown the device’s performance. As you might have guessed, this may cause problem and can be turned off by going to Settings > iTunes & App Store and turning the toggle to off for Updates in the Automatic Downloads section.
